What is called College Physics is typically a two-semester Introductory Physics course designed for students planning to go into the Health Professions. It is sometimes called Introductory Physics for the Health Professions.
Required Precalculus (or College Algebra). Trigonometry is highly recommended.
Even though Trigonometry may not be required, students are strongly advised to learn basic Trigonometry before they take College Physics. Yes, I know, many Physics textbooks include Trigonometry review, but you will feel much better if you already know. The course begins with topics that involve trigonometry almost from the second or third class.
